From the Grove

A trip to Spain inspired this painting. The lemon and orange trees growing on the streets added brightness to the bustling city, and filled the air with faint citrus scents. Walking back to our from dinner, I noticed how the street lights glistened against the course lemon skin, and wanted to paint the imagery.
