Lost in A Melody

Lost in A Melody is a piece dedicated to my grandpa who has a great passion for classical music. Sometimes when I video call him, he will ask me to play piano so he can listen to smooth melodies from half the world away.
The elderly man I drew in this piece is from a picture I found at my art teacher's studio. I used hazy colors in the art to invoke a sense of tranquility that my grandpa, and others, may experience from listening to instrumental music.
